The full time 2 year course will follow a unique, and tested, structured programme that will develop and enhance golf, education, lifestyle, psychology, fitness and more.
- The comprehensive programme, including BTEC National Diploma in Sport, is delivered by qualified PGA coaches and fully qualified tutors, tailored to suit the needs of a young sports minded student.
- Whether you wish to become a PGA Pro, go on to higher education or follow a career in golf/sport – the BTEC National Diploma in Sport can fulfil your needs.
- The course covers 18 modules over two years and covers a wide variety of relevant topics – all forming a useful basis to go on to your chosen career pathway.
- Entry requirements are based on education - 4 GCSEs at Grade C (or equivalent) and age (must be 16 years old +). Maths and English are desirable but not essential.
- The course is assessed through the completion of coursework and does not have any formal examinations. A variety of assessment methods are used including assignments, presentations, video evidence and practical demonstrations.
- There may also be an opportunity to complete the following qualifications:
- PING Trained Fitter
- PGA Level 1 Coach
- Tri Golf Activator
The educational content within the course has been designed to suit you as a golfer and allows a good balance between traditional classroom education and achieving golfing excellence.
